How long will the stretch of the Pacific Coast Highway by Big Sur be closed?

I saw that a large section of the PCH collapsed down the mountain near Big Sur and it looks pretty serious. How are they going to fix it and how long will it take?

Latest Update, March 29th :: Just as the southern section of road was due to re-open this weekend, another mudslide happened, 10 miles further south near Alder Creek. This means that for a while, 50 miles of the PCH is closed. It's hoped that the new slide will be cleared later this week, but the northern closure at Rocky Creek Bridge may not re-open until the end of April at the earliest.
