There are a number of large coach services leaving from Kuala Lumpur Putra bus station, opposite Putra World Trade Center (easily reached by taking the Star LRT to the Putra World Trade Center station or a KTM Komuter train to Putra station), to Kuala Terengganu Express Bus Station near Redang Island and vice versa. It costs about MYR30 per person one way (7-8hours)(prices may have changed)
