      There are two resort mountains that are easily accessible from Queenstown. Depending on your abilities, I would say from easiest to most difficult terrain would be:

      Remarkables - Easiest terrain, family friendly
      Coronet Peak - Mixed terrain also family friendly

      Further North is the most challenging mountain of these three

      Mt. Hutt - Steeper more challenging terrain. Largest vertical drop of the three mountains

      If you really want to do something amazing try booking a heli skiing day(s) from one of the companies in town. They can access some incredible areas in and around Queenstown.

      *Note Coronet recently announced it was postponing its opening due to warmer than normal conditions.
