Exploring Kauai

Continuing our 2 Honeymoons Per Year policy, Vivien and I headed off to Kauai for 10 days of island exploring. Kauai is a truly unique island - it's the oldest island in the Hawaiian chain, and that's the reason for the lush landscape, numerous beaches, navigable rivers and huge waterfalls. For anyone active who's planning a trip, I recommend the North Shore; it's less touristy than the South and there's more to do. The town of Hanalei is now one of my favorite places on the planet.
