This Central London hotel is a magnificently restored Victorian townhouse situated in the heart of Kensington. From the moment you enter our stately hall, the authentic Victorian decor envelops you and it also retains much of its Victorian heritage with its sweeping staircases and real fireplaces.

The Hoylake links can be, by turns, beautiful, uplifting, awe inspiring and, on occasion, soul-destroying. They were created to be a demanding test of golf and remain so, and they lie at the very heart of the history and development of golf in Great Britain. Built in 1869, on what was then the racecourse of the Liverpool Hunt Club, Hoylake is the oldest of all the English seaside courses with the exception of Westward Ho! in Devon, which was established just a few years earlier. Robert Chambers and George Morris were commissioned to lay out the original Hoylake course, which was extended to 18 holes in 1871.

A group of 24 local businessmen founded Formby Golf Club in 1884. As was usual in those early days in England, golf was played over a 9 hole course during the winter months between October and mid-April. The first course was designed on the land which was part of the Warren, it lay between the recently extended railway to Southport (1851) and the sand dunes and followed the pattern of golf course design created at St Andrews and Westward Ho! and the earliest local course of West Lancashire (1873).

Hillside Golf Club is situated in Southport, the home of 'Englands Golf Coast'. The course forms part of England's finest stretch of coastal links being adjacent to Royal Birkdale and Southport and Ainsdale with Formby Golf Club a few miles down the road. Royal Birkdale is one of England's finest golf clubs and has been voted the number one course the entire country. Additionally, the course has been rated among the top golf courses in the entire world. The Royal Birkdale is situated on the same stretch of coastline as fellow Open Championship venues Royal Lytham St Annes and Royal Liverpool. Over the years the course has played host to two Ryder Cups, the Walker and Curtis Cups and nine Open Championships.

Royal Lytham and St Annes Golf Club was founded in 1886 and the present Course constructed in 1897. The Clubhouse celebrated its Centenary in 1998. It is one of the premier links courses in the world, host to ten Open Championships, two Ryder Cups and numerous other major tournaments including the Women's and Seniors Open Championships.
