    The Wine Museum is located in Peñafiel Castle. The Castle is situated on a hilt separating the valleys of the Duero and Duratón rivers standing out among the seven valleys. As a result of its strategic position, the surrounding landscape and breathtaking panoramic views can be appreciated.

    First we will enjoy of one historical tour, and we will introduce us in the wine world. We will learn, how wine was made by the greeks and romans and how is made now in our times. A travel a long the history.

      Then we will check in in the Hotel Spa Convento de Santa Clara, where we will have a wine recepcion, to start enjoying the pleasures of Castilla and also some free time to enjoy of the hotel facilities and to get ready for our first winery.

        After having a nice relax in the Spa, our trip will continue with a winery visit! and of course a nice wine tasting after it. Protos, which comes from the Greek word for FIRST, was the first winery in this aera. The winery was created in 1927 by the firsts winemakers of the region.

        The 1929 World Exposition in Barcelona gave a particularly strong impulse to this tendency, awarding Gold Medals to its red wines.

        We will enjoy of 3 wine-testing: oek-fermented verdejo, joven roble with 6 months of american oek aeging and 6 more in the bottle, and the gran reserva (24 months in oak-cask and 36 months in a bottle)

          Campaspero famous thank to the lamb and the quarries. We will be lucky and will be able to enjoy of the lamm days in the best restaurant of the area. The name Mannix. and back to the hotel and enjoy of the nice and quite room!

            Saturday morning, we will have a nice breakfast and after that we will have time to enjoy of the spa till 1 o'clock. We will also have an one hour massage. At 2 o'clock the bus will pick us up to take us to our next destination.

              We will have our lunch there, and will have the previlege of sharing this with the enologist, so that we will be able to make all the questions that we have and enjoy of the wine trought a professional wine-known.

              After a wonderfull lunch, we will visit the vines by a nice and historical horse-carriages.
