From Medina, the President travels to a more grassroots-style event. The historic Paramount Theater in Seattle is the setting for a reception for an expected 800 supporters. A Democratic official tells CNN that tickets here start at $100, but on the Obama re-election committee website this week, general admission required a $1000 donation, VIP seats costs $2500 and for $7500 a photo with the president. Marine One lands at the VA in Westwood and the President departs for the House Of Blues in a motorcade. The following street closures have been announced:

- Sunset Boulevard (from Doheny Drive to Sweetzer Avenue)
- Santa Monica Boulevard (from Doheny Drive to La Cienega Boulevard)
- Olive Drive (from Sunset Boulevard to Santa Monica Boulevard)
- Holloway Drive (front Sunset Boulevard to La Cienega Boulevard)
- La Cienega Boulevard (from Sunset Boulevard to Rosewood Avenue)
- Fountain Avenue (from La Cienega Boulevard to Sweetzer Avenue)
- Delongpre Avenue (from Fountain Avenue to Flores Street)

In addition, San Vicente Boulevard (from Santa Monica Boulevard to Melrose Avenue) WILL BE CLOSED from 6 a.m. Monday, September 26, to 12 noon on Tuesday, September 27, 2011.

The first event in Los Angeles, aimed at entertainment-industry bigwigs, will be at the House of Blues on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood. Tickets range from $250 for general admission to $10,000 for a photo with Obama. (SF Gate)
