Saint Mary's Cathedral (it was not called a Basilica until later) held a mass for four female victims of the Titanic who are buried in Mount Olivet Roman Catholic Cemetery in Halifax. Following the mass, representatives of the White Star Line called the Glebe House to thank the priests. -

Former site of Snow’s Funeral Home. John Snow & Sons lead a team of emblamers that came in from across the Maritimes to prepare the bodies of the victims. Cable ship Minia, which was designed to lay and maintain cables but also aided in the search for Titanic victims, was based out of this wharf in the years following its construction in 1913. Ten interpretive panels located around the wharf highlight the stories of ships and crew that were part of the cabling era in the 1900s. - total distance: 11 miles (18 km)
