This summer, Vivien and I took off on an adventure to Costa Rica. The two of us spent weeks planning the trip and it was just about perfect. We hiked through tropical jungles, rappelled down waterfalls, visited local swimming holes, slept in the shadow of an active volcano, journeyed by horseback over steep mountain trails, explored the cloud forest on zip lines, braved the roughest dirt roads in the world, toured a coffee plantation, surfed at idyllic beaches and conquered raging rivers. We brought back hammocks, machetes, coffee, bug bites and hundreds of great pictures.
